Dear Evan Hansen Opens in Las Vegas — and It's Worth the Ticket

Broadway Stage Collective brings the Nevada premiere to Summerlin Library & PAC. It's heavier than you might expect, and more moving than you'd predict from community theatre.

Before we say anything else: the subject matter includes teen suicide and mental health. If that's raw territory for you right now, know that before you buy a ticket. The show handles it carefully — but it doesn't flinch.

With that said: Broadway Stage Collective's production of Dear Evan Hansen is genuinely worth seeing. Not "worth seeing for community theatre" — worth seeing, full stop. The production was built by people who care about the material, including a professional projection designer (Jeff Bielatowicz) who made the visual design say something rather than just illuminate the stage.
